Livesport Prague OPEN 2021 with three players from the top twenty of the world rankings

Stars from all around the world will participate in traditional WTA 250 "Livesport Prague Open" tennis tournament, which will take place in mid-July at the TK Sparta Prague tennis complex. The 11th player of the world Petra Kvitová, the 12th player of the world Belinda Benčič from Switzerland, and such a fresh grand slam winner from Paris Barbora Krejčíková (15) will present themselves on the new concrete courts in the week from 12 to 18 July.

"The list of registered players is very attractive, they promise a high tennis spectacle for spectators who will have access to the complex this year. In addition to the two Czech grand slam winners, four other Czech women will present themselves in the main competition. With regard to the change of date and the move in the WTA schedule, it will have its premiere to play on the new concrete courts, which are currently being completed"said the tournament director David Trunda.

In addition to Petra Kvitová and Bára Krečíková, Markéta Vondroušová (41st), Marie Bouzková (50th), Kateřina Siniaková (75th) and Tereza Martincová (90th) are also among those registered.

With regard to anti-epidemiological measures, tickets will be required for all playing days, including qualifying, to enter the premises, which will always guarantee a place in the main grandstand throughout the playing day. The all-week season ticket costs 750 crowns, the all-day entrance fee from Monday to Wednesday will be 100 crowns, from Thursday to Saturday 200 crowns, and 300 crowns for the final. All-day entry to the qualification will be 50 crowns.

"With regard to the quality of the starting field and the number of matches on offer, the entrance fee is rather symbolic, the main goal of which is to regulate the number of people in the stands and in front of the complex. We do not want a larger number of fans to gather who will not have a confirmed entrance to the auditorium. Its capacity will be 1,000 spectators"explained tournament director David Trunda.

The times of the first matches from the beginning of the qualification to Friday are tentatively set at 10:00, on Saturday at 10:30, Sunday's final will start at 11:00.
